STATEMENTS OF FAITH
Triune God
We believe in the one triune God revealed in the Bible: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(John 1:1, Matthew 28:19)

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ, as God in human form, is the only begotten Son of God. He lived a perfect life, and through His death, and bodily resurrection, humanity can be saved. He is now sitting at the right hand of the father but will someday return for those awaiting Him.
(John 1:14, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 1:19)

Holy Spirit & Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who transforms believers, endowing them with gifts and graces. These are available to all who believe and play a vital role in aiding the Church and advancing the Kingdom of God. We accept, acknowledge, encourage, and seek all biblical gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing their practice in love and alignment with the Bible and God's authority.
(Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12)

Salvation
We believe salvation is found in repenting of our sins, and trusting Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the life and the only path to the Father. God's perspective on salvation is summarized in Romans 8:28-30, where He foreknows, predestines, calls, justifies, and glorifies.
(Acts 4:12, John 3:16, Romans 10:9)

Sin
Through disobedience, mankind is separated from God, and without God, he is without hope.
(Romans 3:23, Jeremiah 17:9)

Water Baptism
We believe that baptism should be by immersion as a public commitment to Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection. It symbolizes our dedication to the Kingdom of God.
(1 Peter 3:21, Acts 22:19)

Church
We believe God's nature and purpose are revealed in His Church, established by Jesus as His Body on Earth. The Church, both Universal and Local, is a united family under Jesus' lordship, fostering an atmosphere of mercy, forgiveness, acceptance, and love. As one people, Christians share the responsibility to work for unity and reconciliation, honoring the Church's role as a nurturing and righteous community.
(Ephesians 4:32, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:3, Colossians 3:12-14)

Bible As Standard
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and our standard for faith and conduct, guiding us to reject practices inconsistent with God's Word.
(Psalms 119:105, 2 Timothy 2-3:16,17)

Priesthood Of Believer
Every believer is granted direct access to God through Jesus Christ.
(1 Peter 2:9, Hebrews 4:16)

Global Evangelism
We embrace Jesus’ commission to make disciples of all nations, joining with other believers to fulfill this important mandate.
(Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 1:16)

Free Will
Each person is responsible for their choices, and service to God should be voluntary, stemming from a free conscience.
(Galatians 5:13, John 7:17)

Tithes & Offerings
The Church's mission should be supported by the voluntary tithes and offerings of those committed to the vision.
(Malachi 3:10, Proverbs 3:9,10)

Authority & Governance
God is the source of all authority, ordaining civil government for order and peace and governance in His Church for righteousness. We believe there should be mutual respect between spiritual and civil authority.
(1 Peter 2:13, Romans 13:1)

Second Coming of Jesus
Jesus will visibly return to establish His government on Earth, and Christians are encouraged to remain watchful and obedient until His appearance.
(Revelations 22:12, Matthew 24:44)

Final Judgement
A final judgment awaits the righteous and the wicked, with rewards for the righteous and eternal death for the wicked.
(2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12)

FINAL AUTHORITY FOR MATTERS OF BELIEF AND CONDUCT
The statement of beliefs does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

Social Issues
We are often asked to bring clarity to several complex social issues that are prevalent within our society today. As you consider these, remember that we are all equally in need of God’s grace and desire to love one another the way God loves each of us.
-
We believe in the sanctity of all human life, recognizing its immeasurable worth from conception to natural death.(Psalm 139:13-16, I Corinthians 3:16-17)
-
We affirm that marriage is exclusively between one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy should be reserved for that union. (Genesis 2:24, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27)
-
God wonderfully creates each person as male or female, reflecting His image. Gender is assigned by God at birth, and altering one's sexual identity is not permitted by Scripture. (Genesis 1:27, Mark 10:6-9
